The customer faced a critical challenge concerning the risk of business disruption caused by a Google Cloud outage. Maintaining uninterrupted email processing was paramount for both internal communication and operational efficiency. The objective was to devise a solution that could facilitate a failover to an alternative cloud platform without compromising email processing speed and reliability.
The proposed solution revolved around the deployment of dual GTB Inspectors in both Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure environments. This dual GTB Inspector configuration ensured the continuous processing of emails. In the event of a primary GTB Inspector failure, the secondary one seamlessly took over, ensuring uninterrupted email flow.

- Each GTB Inspector can support a processing rate of 100 GB per second, ensuring scalability and efficient email processing aligned with the enterprise’s requirements.
The system currently processes more than 1 million emails daily, with no disruptions. The failover mechanism has undergone rigorous testing and has consistently demonstrated its efficacy in maintaining seamless email flow, even in adverse circumstances.
